A Bit About Me
I am a social worker and child and Youth Worker with over 20 years of experience helping Ontario's youth, families, and adult clients overcome personal challenges. I work with a body and mind focus, with a specialty in trauma reprocessing and creating safe client-driven therapeutic environments. That means the client decides where they feel the safest during the session, and we work together to make that space a reality.
I use a multimodal, trauma-informed approach to help clients navigate the complex challenges that often accompany life experiences and support them in their journey toward stabilization, healing, and recovery. My approach is empathetic and respectful, and I deeply appreciate the resilience and strength of each individual and family I work with. I also work to invite laughter and a little fun into the therapeutic process. I believe combining talk therapy, nature, safe spaces, laughter and a great therapeutic relationship can help heal at a completely different level and I work hard to make that happen for everyone I have the privilege to partner with.
